September Improvements

Today we've released a number of improvements as well as one or two new features!

🆕 "Reply to" fields

You can now specify a default "reply to" email address which will be used the "reply to" email address on all email communications sent out from LoopedIn. This can be configured from your white-labelling options.

🆕 Extra detail in emails

We've added extra detail on New Idea / New Feedback email notifications. The full description is now included within the email alert.

✨ Voting Improvements

We've changed the way visitor and authenticated votes are recorded on public Roadmaps, resulting in less duplication and better visibility on who's voting for what.

✨ Smaller improvements

  • Webp image format is now supported
  • Google Drive URLs are now supported for embeds

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Fix to image captions formatting in emails

Default Roadmap Sort Order

It's now possible to order your Roadmap by vote count, rather than the default priority ordering.

You'll find a new setting under Public Settings > Public Roadmap > Roadmap Cards > Card Order

When set to "vote count", all roadmap cards will be sorted in descending order based on their vote count.

Guest Authentication & Social Sign-in Options

Today we've introduced the option of requiring public users to authenticate before they can vote, comment and submit new feedback.

Once enabled from your Workspace Settings, users will be prompted to sign-in upon interaction with your public page (vote, comment etc) and will be able to sign-in using any of the following methods:

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Email (one time code)

The existing SSO modal has also been redesigned and incorporated into this new modal, so if you have SSO enabled then this will be the first option presented to your users.
